- The pattern is written in UK terminology
- The finished product ends up approximately 7.5cm tall using similar yarn and hook size. Thinner yarn and a smaller hook size will produce a smaller product and vice versa
- Gauge is not important – just make sure the stitches are tight enough so that the stuffing doesn’t show through

This pattern does not contain basic crochet lessons. To make this design you need to have previous knowledge and experience making amigurumis. You also need to have experience in reading written patterns and adapting materials (for example, if you work with another type of yarn, another number of crochet hooks, if you close each row or if you crochet in a spiral, etc.).
Crocheted with number 2.00mm & 1.00mm crochet hooks and DK Cotton yarn (head, body) & Fingering Acrylic yarn (only eyes), it is 6cm high, 5cm wide and 10cm long.

So, this is the pattern for my design “The Sleepy Fox”.
As you may have predicted, you can use any yarn and colour you want. I use the yarn “Tilda” from Svarta Fåret, and needle size 2,5. It’s a thin yarn and using that with the mentioned needle will make the fox about 17 centimeters high (ears included).
