3. Yarn over your hook, using your left thumb and index finger hold the yarn that's on the side of your hook facing away from you. Hold it tight and make sure not to drop it. Then pull your yarn through all the loops on your hook. The yarn you are holding on to has created a loop, this loop you will insert your hook, yarn over and pull through the help loop. Yarn over again and pull through both loops on your hook (Simply put you are making a single crochet around the yarn you are holding on to)

4. After finishing your 1 puff you ch 1, pull up your ch to a loop, (try to make all your loops foreach puff the same length) yarn over, insert your hook through the sc from the last puff (you will be pulling up your loops around this single crochet) Yarn over and pull up a loop. What you are doing now Is this: ch 1, pull up a loop, *Yarn over, insert hook in sc, yarn over and pull through and up a loop* Repeat 3 times. There should now be 7 loops on your hook. To create your second puff, you will now collect your loops from the same place as your first puff.

Yarn over (making it 8 loops on your hook) insert your hook through the same st as your first puff. Yarn over and pull through and up a loop. *Yarn over, insert in the same hole, yarnover and pull through and up a loop* Repeat until there are 13 loops on your hook (2 puffs). Yarn over your hook, using your left thumb and index finger hold the yarn that's on the side of your hook facing away from you. Hold it tight and make sure not to drop it. Then pull your yarn through all the loops on your hook. The yarn you are holding on to has created a loop, in this loop you will insert your hook, yarn over and pull through the help loop. Yarn over again and pull through both loops on your hook (Simply put you are making a single crochet around the yarn you are holding on to)

3 puff - a 3puff stitch consists of three puffs created by 19 loops before the closing sc is made.

5. To create a 3 puff follow the steps for making a 2 puff, but before you pull your yarn through all the loops on your hook you will create another puff. This time you will pull your loops through the single crochet made from your rounds first 1 puff. When you have 19 loops on your hook you hold your yarn, pull through all 19 loops and make a single crochet around the yarn you are holding onto.
