This sweet and simple crocheted bonnet will warm little baby ears all year round. The pattern has step by step pictures to show you how to crochet the bonnet and will make it an easy pattern for beginners as well as advanced crocheters.

Pattern info
This pattern has a several sizes written on the same row, the specific number of stitches for each size are separated with /, if there are no /on a row in such a pattern the numbers apply to all sizes.

Materials
Yarn: 50 gr Llama soft (Balls: 50gr, 150m/164yards), you could check yarnsub for an yarn that’s easier for you to get your hands on.
Hook: 4,0mm
Scissors
Needle
Sizes: 0-3 months, 3-6 months, 6-9 months
Gauge: 16 dc x 9 rows = 10x10cm (4”x4”)
To check your gauge:
Start by chaining 18
1-9. Starting in third chain from hook make 1 dc in each st (16) ch 2, turn
You square should now be 10x10cm (4”x4”)

Head piece
Ch 52/56/60
1. In third ch from hook make 1 dc, then 1 dc in each remaining ch (50/54/58) ch 2, turn
2. 1 dc in each st (50/54/58) ch 2 turn
Repeat row 2 another 8/10/12 times, then make one more row of 1 dc in each st before you fasten yarn and sew in your ends.

Back piece
Ch 12
1. In third ch from hook make 1 dc, then 1 dc in each remaining ch (10) ch 2, turn
2. 2dc in first st, 1 dc in 8 sts, 2 dc in last st(12) ch 2, turn
3. 1 dc in each st (12) ch 2, turn
Repeat row 3 another 8/9/10, on the last row you will only chain one.
You will now crochet along the three of the sides, two long and one short. Make 50/54/58 sc evenly placed along those three sides.
Optional:
To make a ruffle on the back your bonnet ch 2 and turn. In each of the single crochets made to assemble the bonnet make 3 dc, this will create a cute ruffle.
Cut and fasten your yarn.

Ties
To make your ties simply make a chain that measures approx. 62/66/68 cm and in second ch from hook make one sl st in each ch, fasten your yarn.
