This is my sleeping swan lovey pattern. It’s so adorable and easy for a child to hold and carry. This crocheted baby comforter will help the child feel secure and beloved. And makes for some super cute baby photos! It’s made with a super soft chenille yarn and cotton yarn.

Pattern info specifically to this pattern
The swans head is made by working I continues rounds, I highly recommend that you use a stitch marker to mark out the first st of each round.
The head is made from top to bottom, the beak is made separately and then sewn on. The wings are made by working back and forth and then the head is sewn onto the wings.

Materials
Yarn: 1 skein Cotton white for the head and orange for beak.
1 skein Chenille for the wings
Hook: 2,5mm for the cotton yarn and 6,0mm for the chenille yarn
Embroidery yarn black for eyes and the black spot on top of the beak

Fill the neck and body with toy stuffing firmly.

Cut you yarn and sew the hole closed.
Beak
With orange yarn and 2,5mm hook.
Make a magic ring.
1. 6 sc in mr (6)
2. *2sc, 1 sc in the next st* x 3 (9)

5. *2sc, 1 sc in 2 sts* x 3 (12)
6. 1 sc in 11 sts, sl st into the last st.
Cut your yarn and sew the beak securely to the head, make sure to tightly secure all ends. Go over the top part of the beak with your black embroidery thread a few times.
Embroider the type of eyes you want. Make sure no threads are loose and that nothing can come undone.

Wings
With white chenille yarn and a 6,0 mm crochet hook.
Make 2.
1. In third chain from hook make 3dc (3) ch 2, turn
2. 2dc in each st (6) ch 2, turn
3. *1 dc, 2dc in the next st* x 3 (9) ch 2, turn
4. *1 dc in 2 sts, 2dc* x 3 (12) ch 2, turn
5. *1 dc in 3 sts, 2dc* x 3 (15) ch 2, turn
6. 1 dc in each st (15) ch 2, turn
7. 1 dc in each st (15) ch 2, turn
8. Dc3tog , 1 dc in 12 sts (13) ch 2, turn
9. 1 dc in 8 sts, dc3tog, sk the last 2 sts (9) ch 2, turn
10. Dc3tog, 1 dc in 6 sts (7) ch 2, turn
11. Dc3tog x 2, sk last st
Cut your yarn and fasten your ends.
Use white cotton yarn to sew the front of the wings to the body.
