FREE crochet pattern - Baby pullover pants

Materials

Yarn: 100-150 gr Llama soft (Balls: 50gr, 150m/164yards), you could check yarnsub for an yarn that's easier for you to get your hands on.

Hook: 4,0mm

Scissors

Needle

Gauge: 16 dc x 9 rows = 10x10cm (4”x4”)

To check your gauge:

Start by chaining 18

1-9. Starting in third chain from hook make 1 dc in each st (16) ch 2, turn

You square should now be 10x10cm (4”x4”)

Sizes: 0-3 months, 3-6 months, 6-9 months


Size 0-3 months


Elastic band

1. Ch 7, in second ch from hook make 1 sl st in each ch (6) ch 1, turn

2. 1 sl st in each st (6) ch 1, turn

Repeat row 2 until your band measures approx. 33 cm in stretched. Then place both ends together being careful not to twist your band and make 1 sl st in each st through both ends. Ch 1

1. Make 72 sc evenly placed along your waistband, finish with a sl st into your first st (72) ch 2, turn

2-16. 1 hdc in each st, sl st into first st (72) ch 2, turn

You will now divide your work for the legs.

First leg

1. 1 hdc in 36 sts, sl st into your first st (creating your first leg) (36) ch 2, turn

2-17. 1 hdc in each st, sl st into first st (36) ch 2

18. *1 hdc in 2 sts, hdc2tog* x9, sl st into first st (27) ch 2

19. *fpdc, bpdc*x13, fpdc, sl st into first st (27) ch 2

20. *fpdc, bpdc* x13, fpdc, sl st into first st (27)

Cut your yarn and sew in your ends.

Second leg

Fasten your yarn in the st closes to the first leg, please note that you should be working in the same direction as the same round on the previous leg.

1. Ch 2, 1 hdc in same st as ch2, 1 hdc in the remaining 35 sts, sl st into first st (36) ch 2, turn

2-17. 1 hdc in each st, sl st into first st (36) ch 2

18. *1 hdc in 2 sts, hdc2tog* x9, sl st into first st (27) ch 2

19. *fpdc, bpdc*x13, fpdc, sl st into first st (27) ch 2

20. *fpdc, bpdc* x13, fpdc, sl st into first st (27)

Cut your yarn and sew in your ends.

You can now see a small hole in between the legs, take a piece of yarn and sew the hole shut and you are done.

Elastic band

2-21. 1 hdc in each st, sl st into first st (42) ch 2

22. *1 hdc in 2 sts, hdc2tog* x10, 1 hdc in 2 sts, sl st into first st (32) ch 2

23. *fpdc, bpdc*x16, sl st into first st (32) ch 2

24. *fpdc, bpdc* x16, sl st into first st (32)

Cut your yarn and sew in your ends.

You can now see a small hole in between the legs, take a piece of yarn and sew the hole shut and you are done.

Size 6-9 months
