Notes from the Designer:
Corydalis is an exquisite crochet shawl that’s crafted from the delicate motifs that were originally known as our Fancy Flower Coasters pattern. Each motif is a work of art, featuring petals that radiate outwards like a blossoming flower. When connected, the floral motifs create a captivating mosaic of blooms, each one perfectly complementing the next. The shawl showcases a harmonious blend of texture and pattern, with the openwork of the flowers allowing for a light and airy feel that’s perfect for any season.
Let this shawl serve as a reminder that not everything is in constant bloom. There are times for rest and times for blossoming. Be kind to yourself, and allow for these natural cycles.
Fireflight Facets

The increasing pattern ensures a graceful drape over the shoulders, making it an ideal accessory for any occasion. Whether you’re an experienced crocheter or a passionate beginner, you’ll find joy in working through the detailed, step-by-step instructions provided.
The subtle, self-striping yarn featured accentuates the construction and fluidity of this gorgeous, generously sized, one-ball shawl. Wrap yourself in this fiery, elegant shawl that is easy to crochet once you memorize the repeating pattern. Due to teh nature of the top down construction, make this shawl in any weight yarn and simply end your repeating pattern when the shawl is your desired size. The edging works beautifully on any repeat of row 17.

These instructions will show you how to make a shawl in the triweave pattern shown in the pictures to the left. A detailed phototutorial is included. The pattern has clickable table of contents and list of figures to help you find exactly what you’re looking for. There are also extra notes on adapting the technique to other shapes.
The pattern is made out of hexagonal motifs, joined into three separate layers. The motifs are attached using JAYG (join-as-you-go). Stitches used are primarily chain and sc, with a special stitch for joining. The crocheting isn’t difficult, but laying out the pattern takes some concentration.

The shawl from the main photo was made of Kokonki yarn (50% Cotton/50% Acrylic) – B126 (dark emerald / sea / patina),1000m / 3 strands, 3.5 mm crochet hook. The dimensions of the shawl after blocking are about 190/90 cm.

Klaziena Shawl
This shawl design is dedicated to the memory of Klaziena McKinlay Swanson (nee Greve) — beloved mother of Sharon Hill of the Southside Sweeties Crochet Group, Beenleigh Bowls Club.
This is either a triangular or rectangular shawl, alternating mesh/lace work with solid bands. The rectangular repeating pattern can be used for anything from a shawl, pillow/cushion cover, table runner, table cloth, placemat, dresser cover, or as a larger item for across the end of the bed.
There are small charts in each row of the written pattern to assist with visualising the order of stitches and the placement of stitches relative to the row below.
Yarn:
I suggest KoKonki Motki Ombre. They have a variety of gradient cakes in cotton, cotton acrylic, cotton acrylic shine, soft acrylic, pure merino, and merino. You can even design your own colourway.
They also have a range of Scheepjes and YarnArt Flowers, which would also be suitable for this project.

I wanted to make something quick, yet beautifully textured and elegant. She loves yellow and red shades so the yarn cake I had in my stash was perfect for it.
Enjoy my newest design, the Raiwë Shawl, which is quite easy and fast to make!

Gevin Grace Shawl
Gevin Grace Shawl is fairly easy, a beginner friendly pattern to start with. It is a triangular shawl, crocheted from the top-down. It can be crocheted with any types of yarns and can be worn on either side.
For this project, I used an 8 ply fine 100% cotton by Ashley’s Crochet in Bali Bliss gradient colorway.
It is a fingering weight yarn and I also used two sizes of hooks- a 4mm for the body until on the 5 row edging and a 3.5mm hook for the outermost edging.
This is my first ever try on making my own pattern, especially the diagram and I am not really good with written pattern. I usually crochet following a diagram. So, if there may be errors in both of my written pattern and diagram. Please let me know. I would greatly appreciate it.
