For this lamb safety blanket crochet pattern I have used a combination of a cotton yarn for the face, feet, hands and ears and a super cozy chenille yarn for the head and body.
The yarn is a chunky chenille yarn from Paintbox and one of my absolute faves! I use it for almost all of my stuffed animals and crochet loveys and security / comfort blankets.
You could use any yarn similar to make this adorable blanket , I would suggest some of the following yarns. If you need any help with substituting yarn in crochet patterns check out my Yarn substitution guide here! – Coming soon
Paintbox
Sirdar
For the face, any DK weight cotton yarn will work.
To make this crochet 2-in-1 blanket you will need the following materials:
Yarn: Chenille yarn and cotton yarn
Crochet Hook:
Tapestry Needle:
Scissors
Stitch Markers
