Baby lovey Lamb how-to: free PRINTABLE lovey crochet pattern

This is my little Mary lamb lovey crochet pattern. One of my most popular patterns of all time. It’s so adorable and easy for a child to hold and carry. This baby crocheted comforter will help the child feel secure and beloved. And makes for some super cute baby photos!
As will any adorable baby who is lucky to have you crochet this for them!
I first created this little lovey for my daughter and it started a chain reaction of my lovey obsession. Even though my kids are too big for cute fluffy crochet loveys now, I cant stop making lovey patterns! If you want to you can have a look at some of my other cuddly lovey here.
If you love the pattern please share the link with your friends, I would be so happy if you did!

The yarn is a chunky chenille yarn from Paintbox and one of my absolute faves!. You could use any yarn similar to make this little lovey , I would suggest some of the following yarns. If you need any help with substituting yarn in crochet patterns check out my Yarn substitution guide here!

Sirdar
For the face, any DK weight cotton yarn will work.

To make this cute crochet lamb lovey you will need the following materials:
Yarn: Chenille yarn and cotton yarn
Crochet Hook:

pattern Notes
- This pattern is worked in the rounds.
- When a series of stitches is repeated the sequence is written within * – * and the total number of times that sequence is repeated is written behind.
- Each round has the amount of stitches written within ( – ).
- When working in the round I suggest using stitch markers to keep track of where each round begins. Place the stitch marker in the first stitch of each round.
- The pattern is read starting on the top left of the page and down, then from the top to the right and down.
- Please note! The pictures illustrating some of the steps are from the little mary lamb cozy blanket, but they still apply to the steps in this pattern
